{Sandy & Jerel}

When we met for their Pittsburgh sunrise engagement session, I knew that Sandy and Jerel were a special couple. They were fun, easy going, down to earth, adorably cute together AND they loved musicals! (We bonded geeking out over the Greatest Showman). That was the day they told me there would be a PENGUIN at their reception! I was just a little bit (okay, a lot) excited.

Fast forward to July 6, 2018. Their reception was at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh, which was a really cool, unique venue.  I have a few favorite things about this wedding: Sandy and Jerel, and all of their friends are SO. FLIPPIN. FUN! Seriously, who stages a “invasion” of a bunch of friends dressed up like penguins during the dancing? FUN PEOPLE! If you hang out with Sandy and Jerel, your guaranteed to have a good time!

My second favorite thing was how Christ-centered their wedding was. Sandy and Jerel wanted to pray together before their wedding (without Jerel seeing Sandy!). This set the tone for the rest of the day. The ceremony was beautiful. It was so encouraging to see a room full of people worshiping and lifting their hands together. This couple is surrounded by a lot of people who are lifting them up in prayer and encouraging their life as “one” in Christ together.

All together, the day went off without a hitch and was wonderful in every way. Sandy and Jerel, THANK YOU for living intentionally and sharing your love with so many people. You guys rock!
